I was never much for Cameron Bashing--and now that she and Justin are over it seems especially pointless--but when I saw this I just couldn't help myself, man; it was like someone opened the floodgates on all my snark. Yikes. Does she really think squatting in leather shorts and pointing to her boobs is the best way to remind the world she still exists?

Oh, and all I can say is thank jeebus JC wasn't left off of this list--otherwise I might've been forced to go down to their corporate offices and crack some skulls. I know some would call that an overreaction, but to those people I say nope. Not at all. Not when JC's "gorgeous smooth tenor" is in danger of being overlooked. :)

(Also, I could have lived a long, happy life without seeing video evidence of Keri Russell's rapping skills. And couldn't they have found a better photo of Tony? Like maybe one of the many, many dozen in which he's snuggling up to JC? Uh, just saying.)

I think the worst part is that we can't even blame the photographer (though I don't doubt he's a scumbag, nevertheless) cause there's no way an actress of her caliber doesn't have final approval before these things go to press. Which means that, at least on some level, she thought this spread was a good idea. Sigh.

(By the way, I really did enjoy the Cambertrick bits in your 'Pornutopia', despite them being so very much not my usual thing!)

Apart from the poses, I am also once more creeped out by how airbrushed and manipped everything is these days. It looks more like someone 'shopped her head onto some random twenty-year-old model's body than it looks anything like her. I was going to say 'onto a Real Doll's body', but I think Real Dolls have more realistic-looking skin than that. In a hundred years time, people are going to look back at us and think what a bunch of weirdos we much all have been to want to look at plasticised people in our magainzes.

(By the way, I really did enjoy the Cambertrick bits in your 'Pornutopia', despite them being so very much not my usual thing!)

Her legs are amazing, but... eh. I suppose that's what happens when a woman poses for a man's magazine. (I prefer seeing Cameron on the Go Fug Yourself site, where she sometimes looks *amazing* and sometimes a complete wreck - their commentary on Cam post-Justin was very, very funny.)

I was somewhat surprised to see that the Timberlake appeared in Esquire UK back in December. Pretty stupid set of photos of him, too, though. :-(

I just googled Justin's pics from Esquire UK and, wow. I don't think I've ever seen him lit that badly in a photoshoot before. Muy unflattering. But at least they didn't dress him up like a dominatrix and tell him to point his rear end at the camera, I guess. :)
