brandywine28-- Alright, show of hands: who else has taken a karate chop to one or both boobs lately? Just me?
For reasons possibly ungodly and definitely inconvenient, I ended up in Midtown today, where I got boob-punched on the street by one of the many thousands of tourists there for some fun Christmas pointing. She didn't even stop to say she was sorry! And they have the nerve to call us rude!
It still hurts, kind of a lot, so that's fun.
But on the bright side, there was a guy running up and down 5th Avenue, ringing a bell and shouting, "Hey, white people! Your president's going to jail!" That was pretty great. I gave him a dollar.
-- Someone on my floor died last week (nobody I knew) and I guess the death was suspicious in some way? So the police have boarded up the apartment with tape and papered it with notices and every time I have to walk past it I feel like screaming. Dislike. Dislike, dislike, dislike.
-- So apparently Sia has a Christmas album? It's over two years old, so I don't wanna make an ass of myself hyping it up too hard, but at the same time, it's kind of righteous. This song alone has enough melodramatic holiday oomph to inspire, like, five hundred fanfics:
-- I love you all! I long to hug each and every one of you close to my injured bosom!
-- Also, don't forget! There's still time to fill a couple of popslash prompts over at Crack-Sparkle-Pop if you're so inclined!
