Gah! To stalk or not to stalk? ETHICAL DILEMMAS, YO.

Lance has, perhaps unwisely, posted photos of the view from his apartment window and, omg, I'm pretty sure I can use them to pinpoint exactly where he lives. (By the looks of it, dude's got a place right in the heart of Rockefeller Center. What the hell? I truly thought, before today, that no actual humans lived in that area - just, like, spunky heroines in sitcoms about New York.)

I'm not saying I'm gonna use this information for evil. I'm just...saying.

Yeah, I'm sure he's still got his other residences. This seems like more of a "work pad". (You know what's funny? Justin's NYC apartment -- and, yes, I know where that is, too, I'm a creep and a half -- is in a MUCH more low-key area. Mind you, it's probably just as expensive...but still :)

Yoko! I've seen her once or twice, from a distance. She's adorable. I see famous people on a pretty regular basis, actually -- but never the ones I care about! I used to go to school on the UES, and back then I'd see Kevin Bacon and...his wife, The Closer, (seriously!! What's her damn name?!) at least once a week. Always, always together. Like they were constantly on their way to marriage counseling, or something. :)

Oh! And now that I've got Rockefeller Center on the brain...my high school BFF and I once cornered Jimmy Fallon on his way inside (he was still on SNL at the time) and invited him to our senior musical. He didn't come, of course, but he said he'd try! He was very polite!

I would definitely be out people watching if I was in the NYC area. I used to visit the Dakota with a friend, but we didn't *hang out* hoping to see Yoko. If I was famous I would find people hanging around just to catch a glimpse to be a bit annoying. Although randomly running into someone on the street is totally different! Anyway, I am not good at spotting people, but my friend was. JFK Jr walked right past us (years ago) and we did meet Armand Assante in a record store. He was very kind and chatted with us longer than we expected. Since I had met him it made it all the more special when he appeared on NCIS. My friend spotted both of them and a few more, but I've forgotten who, since this was back in the mid-late 90s. We even went to the famous China Club once (invited by a musician friend). I'm sure there were famous people there, but I didn't recognize anyone. Our friend told us who the people on stage that night were. I remember Will Lee was onstage.

I'm sure some stars get fed up with it, but it is part of the job. The N*Sync guys always seem so down to earth and grateful for what they have. I can't imagine them not being cordial to their fans. (Although I heard Justin totally went off on fans a time or two. He must have been tired and having a bad day.)

If you run into Lance, give him a hug from all his LJ fans!
