Welp. I'm full of cookies and prosecco and I just watched Disney's The Small One on youtube and sobbed like an imbecile, so that can only mean one thing: it's Wednesday. :)

Thanks to zebraljb, pensnest and mickeym for the gorgeous Christmas cards! They really cut through the holiday malaise! (I swear, one of these years I'll get my act together enough to send out my own. ...don't give me that look! I will!)

I'm taking a break from mashing turnips to watch the Christmas in Washington concert and cackling bitchily to myself because both Sasha and Malia Obama tower-- and I mean tower -- over Brian Littrell. I don't know whose bright idea it was to stand that specific combination of human beings right next to each other in a row, but he doesn't look too happy about it, poor guy.

My MtYG present this year was Counters, and I haven't read it yet -- I'm pretty miserly about my yearly popslash haul; I usually spend the week between Christmas and New Year's rationing the MtYG stories on almost a sentence-by-sentence basis -- but, based on the first paragraph, it looks very, very promising. Futuristic soulmate-y exploits! Hee.

As for me, I've already gotten a few feedback notices! I'm still trying to work up the courage to open 'em, though. I'm a feedback wuss. *hangs head in shame*
