I love hats; I've just never been able to pull them off. :)

I don't even know, man. I had this blurry, half-formed idea for a 19th century AU, so I decided to do some veeeery preliminary research/reading/whatever. Then I got sidetracked thinking about high-necked dresses and parasols and before I knew it I had wasted 45 minutes looking at pictures of hats online. So, yeah.

Yeah, nothing like a wide-brimmed Victorian bonnet to make your head look like a giant satellite. :)

Lance strolling through a meadow, twirling a parasol is a life-ruining image. I--I'm not even sure I know what to do with it. Um, thank you?

(I'm thinking something more American. Rustic. Like a sexified 'Little House on the Prairie'. I...cannot even believe I just typed that. But yes. Yes.)

OMG Little House...they're out on the frontier, trying to build a life...and a town. Joey shoes horses. Lance is the schoolteacher. JC and Chris runs the saloon. Justin is a homesteader.
