brandywine28-- Youtube tells me this is from the year of our Lord 2006, which sounds about right, I guess. What is all kinds of wrong, however, is that it popped into my head wholesale just now -- lyrics and everything -- and I briefly thought my brain was stroking out. So, since I'm the kind of jerk who likes to watch the world burn, and also since the internet never throws anything away, apparently -- ??? I am now foisting it on you all. Enjoy!
(Does anyone else ever yearn for the old Conan, from the time before NBC broke his spirit and copyrighted all his best material? The Masturbating Bear? Artistic. Genius.)
-- I think I thanked everyone individually, but I've also been meaning to do a big, blanket thank you for all the people who sent me birthday messages a couple of weeks ago. They were beautiful and I didn't deserve them. As evidence, see...everything that's going on in my previous two paragraphs.
-- I would commit an actual murder right now for a caramel apple. (Or one of those fudge apples they used to have at Hicks Nurseries!! Anyone? Long Island peeps? ...just me, then?) I know they're a fair food, and I'd probably feel pretty stupid eating one quietly in my living room, but I stand by my opening statement. Murder.
-- So. Cuomo had officially orange-zoned me. Well, yellow-zoned, as of this afternoon, and if that sounds like word salad to you, then I envy you. All it really means is that I haven't been able to go to the farmer's market the last two Sundays. Unfortunately, the farmer's market's the only thing that's been keeping me sane since June. No fresh air and no artisanal produce make Brandywine a dull bitch.

I've always felt a little bad for Conan. He always seemed underappreciated in the talk show genre and I wonder if it's because he wasn't an abrasive jerk.
