Gasp! Hamilton's instituting a ten dollar ticket lottery for all B'way performances!

This is very, very, very good news. Even if I do foresee a long, hot August chock full of semi-tedious ass-on-curb action. (Being broke is serious business, y'all. It requires STRATEGERY.)

they do that over here too but i've never won!!! ugh i would go more often if i could afford it. i'm kinda theatre-illiterate though so i should probs seek out smaller indie shows but i don't know what i like! i should try and experiment more it's just if i have the money i play it safe and go to the cinema :(

I've never won one of these things either, but I'm exactly the kind of idiot who believes I can improve my odds just by wanting it badly enough! Passion and empty pockets, that's the ticket. :)

I like to think I have pretty good taste in shows, but Hamilton's got people raving all over the damn place in a way I haven't seen since (maybe) Wicked, and that's going back more than a decade; it's probably about as safe a bet, quality-wise, as there is right now.
