In my own case, I knew nopseud knew I was her Santa because she's in charge of MTYG, and such knowledge is difficult to avoid. And it didn't occur to me to 'plant' a story, although next time, 'twould be a cunning plan indeed.
I'm impressed by the fact that *all* this year's guesses on the Guess The Author post were correct!
