This article dares to ask what I feel is one of the most pertinent and chronically underasked questions in all of Harry Potter-dom:

if the Weasley twins had the Marauder's Map in their possession for *years* before they gave it to Harry, didn't they find it, oh, I don't know, STRANGE that their preteen brother was crawling into bed with some man named Peter night after night after night?

I mean, REALLY. Forget about the elder wand and the hallows and whatever other mysteries you're still hung up on after all these years--I need to know why more people don't care about this!!!

Oh man, talk about a plot hole that'll make an author feel like a moron. *lol* Either that or they never bothered to learn the names of Seamus, Neville, and Dean! I mean, who were they to be concerned if little Ron was experimenting at an early age, right? Blackmail fodder for later years. ;)

Hah! And wasn't Scabbers Percy's rat before Ron got him? I'd have thought the twins would be *delighted* to spy on Percy!

See, that just adds a whole new layer of weirdness to this mess: from their perspective it would've looked like eleven-year-old Ron had somehow stolen his older brother's mystery boyfriend!

I definitely prefer the idea that it WASN'T a writing error, that the twins were just biding their time with the wizarding equivalent of dirty surveillance photos!
