Dear me. One might have thought that if the VA is capable of noticing that there are/were two veterans of the same name, they should be capable of distinguishing one from the other and treating them appropriately.

Perhaps the picketers were Trump supporters who thought you were representing an unwanted (by them) community too attractively?
