kinky donuts

Anyone who's read my most recent MtYG story (so...two of you) should have no trouble understanding why I keep coming back to this photo again and again and just...totally losing it. Losing it.

ETA: so very, very unrelated, but good God, how fantasta-wonderful is it that, with thousands upon thousands of fans not-so-quietly clamoring for new content, unreleased music, news about future projects, this - this - is the kind of thing JC chooses to share on Twitter? *brushes away tears of happiness* That man, I swear. He's basically the pop star equivalent of that "I like turtles" kid. His whole personality is just one huge non sequitur. :)

But he promised that's not what he wanted the donuts for! He just had a craving, really!

Have you heard about Sony releasing a 2-disc Nsync compilation without telling the group about it?

Hey, now! I'm not trying to imply there's any funny business going on! It's just...way too crazy to ignore, is all. Either it's the biggest, weirdest coincidence ever...or JC and I share a psychic bond based on pastries and badly written pornography. :)

I have! And, honestly, I have no idea what kind of game the suits at Sony are playing. The numbers are looking good - great, even - so I guess that's what we should focus on. But still...wtf?

Oh, JC.

[identity profile] brandywine28.livejournal.com 2014-08-16 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
But, seriously! Is JC trying to send me messages of solidarity through the internet-machine? ...or am I just having a low-level Hinckley moment? Oh, God. Oh, God.

I'm scared.

Maybe he's just trying to let you know how much he enjoyed your story, and that he thought it was hot! Okay, so sending e-mail would've been a lot simpler, but this is JC we're talking about here.

Ha! Hmm, maybe...

I guess I'll postpone the breakdown 'til after he releases a single called Bakery Getdown. But when that day comes, mark my words...tinfoil hats for everyone!

I'll wear one with you. A few years after I wrote The Wedding Cake Theory, JC released Dear Goodbye, which was EXACTLY the story I'd imagined him writing after he breaks up with Lance in that story. Really, uncannily exactly like, only much better, obviously, because JC wrote it and not me.

Oh my God. *scampers off to do a listen n' read*

You know, it makes an odd sort of sense, the idea that a psychically attuned JC would use his powers for little things, messing with fans' minds and creating mild mischief and just kind of quietly amusing himself. No cartoonish mega-villainy for him!

Now Lance on the other hand...

I just re-read your MTYG story and it made me giggle at least as much as it did the first time through. Classic popslash. Alsi, JC's sex donuts. Ahahahaha!

The only thing wrong with JC on Twitter is that he doesn't tweet often enough. Lance, now, Lance is prolific, and shares pictures of himself snuggling with adorably pathetic dogs. That's fanservice!

[identity profile] brandywine28.livejournal.com 2014-08-16 10:05 am (UTC)(link)
*blushes, hides behind hair* Aw, you didn't have to do that! (I still can't believe I ripped off key plot points from a decade old issue of Cosmo. GAH.)

True, JC's tweeting isn't just random, it's way too sporadic. (But - but! His fish! His little rainbow socks!) Lance wins at Twitter. By a mile. Not that it's much of a contest; Joey's grammar is just...whoa. He types like a caveman! And Chris, well. The man. Refuses. To punctuate. I wanna shake him by the shoulders and yell "you went to college! You went to college!!"

:)
