I guess you just get to appreciate different aspects of the show depending on the cast. I completely *adore* my DVD of the Broadway production, and it's hard to imagine anyone else living up to most of those actors, really... Is the Park version the one with Danielle Ferland as the Witch, or was that somewhere else?
As for pop boys as frogs, well, there's Ribbit, with illustration, or possibly also An Amphibian Fairy Tale, without illustration. And there is a museum of stuffed frogs in Switzerland, which is, um, well. It's a museum of stuffed frogs. Posed like 19th Century everyday life.
